Description
Casing Head – High-Strength API Wellhead Component for Pressure Control
The Casing Head is a vital pressure-containing component installed at the top of the surface casing string during oil and gas drilling operations. It provides the foundation for subsequent wellhead equipment, offering a secure interface for casing hangers, tubing hangers, blowout preventers (BOPs), and other pressure control devices.
Constructed from high-strength, low-alloy carbon steel or corrosion-resistant alloys, the casing head is built to withstand high axial loads and internal pressures, ensuring long-term structural integrity in both onshore and offshore environments. Its precision-machined bowl and seal areas facilitate efficient installation and reliable sealing of casing strings, while the bottom connection can be threaded or welded for compatibility with surface casing.
Available with multi-bowl configurations, lock screws, and secondary seal options, our casing heads are designed to meet or exceed API 6A standards for performance, safety, and dimensional compatibility.
