Product Description
Drill collars are heavy, thick-walled steel components used in the bottom hole assembly (BHA) of a drill string. They provide the required weight on bit (WOB) to support effective drilling operations and maintain stability within the wellbore.
Positioned above the drill bit and below the drill pipe, drill collars help maintain tension in the drill string and reduce the risk of buckling. Their design supports wellbore stability and directional control. Drill collars can also accommodate measurement tools for monitoring downhole conditions.
