Description

This pressure control assembly includes both ram-type and annular blowout preventers (BOPs), designed to maintain well integrity during drilling operations.

The ram-type BOP, located on the left, utilizes opposing steel rams to seal the wellbore either around drill pipe or completely in the absence of tubulars. It is built for reliable high-pressure containment and is essential in shearing and sealing applications. The annular BOP, positioned on the right, uses a reinforced elastomeric sealing element that can form a seal around various sizes of pipe or even open holes, offering versatility and rapid sealing response under dynamic conditions.

Both units are designed to operate under harsh conditions in compliance with API 16A standards, offering robust pressure containment capabilities essential to well control.
