Built with a totally enclosed, heavy-duty steel and cast iron frame, the motor offers rugged protection and longevity. Its IP55 enclosure safeguards internal components from dust and water ingress, while the UL & CSA certifications ensure compliance with the highest safety standards, including Class I, Group C & D hazardous locations.
This model is inverter-duty rated starting from 1 HP, making it suitable for variable speed applications common in modern drilling systems. Featuring Class F insulation and a 1.15 service factor, the motor is rated to operate efficiently in ambient temperatures up to 40°C, supporting continuous operation without thermal degradation.
Additional protective features include normally closed thermostats, a threaded lead inlet for secure wiring, UL-approved breather drains, and a drive-end shaft slinger that shields against contaminants.
