Low Inrush Current Motors are specifically engineered for applications where minimizing electrical inrush is critical to system stability and power distribution integrity. These motors feature a durable modular frame constructed from welded steel, ensuring structural reliability and vibration resistance in harsh industrial environments.
At the heart of these motors is a robust stator system incorporating form-wound coils. These coils undergo a complete Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) process, which significantly enhances insulation strength and thermal performance. The motors are offered in shaft heights ranging from 560mm to 900mm, making them suitable for medium to large-scale installations across various sectors.
Rated at a standard voltage of 11kV, these motors are also available in other voltage configurations upon request, offering flexibility for custom applications. Cooling options include WP-II (IC01), TEWAC (IC81), and IC611 (TEAAC), all available in horizontal and vertical mounting configurations to meet environmental and spatial requirements.
The low inrush rotor design allows for soft-start compatibility, reducing stress on upstream electrical equipment and extending the life of power components. These motors are ideal for high-inertia or direct-on-line applications where grid stability and reduced startup demand are critical.
