Low-Speed Motors (below 6 poles) are engineered to deliver high torque and dependable performance for large-scale, demanding industrial applications. These motors are built using a rugged modular frame fabricated from welded steel, ensuring mechanical resilience and adaptability for horizontal or vertical installation environments.

With shaft heights ranging from 710 mm to 2500 mm, these motors are well-suited for critical infrastructure such as rolling mills, cement kilns, marine propulsion systems, and other heavy-duty mechanical loads. The rotor is designed with laminated poles wound using rectangular copper wire to optimize magnetic flux and reduce losses under continuous load conditions.

The motor supports multiple starting methods for fixed-speed operations—including Direct-on-Line (DOL), reactor, autotransformer, capacitor, Load Commutated Inverter (LCI), and reactor-capacitor configurations. For variable speed applications, it integrates seamlessly with LCI, Cycloconverter, and Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) systems.
