The General Purpose Single Phase Open Motor series is designed to deliver dependable performance in applications limited to single-phase power supply. Built with Open Drip Proof (ODP) enclosures, these motors offer effective ventilation and are suitable for use in dry indoor environments where cooling and cost efficiency are key considerations.
Horsepower ratings range from 1/6 hp to 10 hp, with Super-E® Premium Efficient models available from 1/4 hp to 5 hp, making them ideal for energy-conscious operations. Designed with a low-noise vibration dampening base and a dynamically balanced rotor, these motors run smoothly and extend bearing life.
Multiple mounting configurations are supported, including standard foot-mounted, C-Face foot-mounted, and C-Face footless options, ensuring compatibility with a variety of applications. Heavy gauge steel construction adds to the durability, while an optimized internal airflow design allows higher horsepower in a more compact form factor.
