Description
Submersible/Immersible Motor – Cast Iron, Dual Seals, Inverter Duty
The Submersible/Immersible Motor is purpose-built for industrial operations where equipment must perform reliably while submerged or intermittently exposed to fluids. Engineered with all cast-iron construction and a 416 stainless steel shaft, this motor delivers superior durability and corrosion resistance in aggressive environments.
Key sealing performance is provided by dual carbon ceramic mechanical seals, offering secure isolation from water ingress. Two normally closed thermostats and dual moisture sensing probes are standard, continuously monitoring internal motor conditions to prevent failure and downtime.
Certified by UL for Division 1, Class I, Group C&D environments, this motor meets stringent safety requirements for use in hazardous areas. It operates with a 1.15 service factor, allowing performance beyond nominal ratings under variable conditions.
Designed to be inverter-duty rated, the motor supports 10:1 variable torque operation under a T2A temperature code, with T3C compliance as standard. This makes it ideal for demanding fluid management applications such as wastewater handling, chemical processing, and submerged pumping.
