Super-E® Shaft Grounded Motor – Baldor-Reliance, 1 to 100 hp, AEGIS® Bearing Protection

The Baldor-Reliance Super-E® Shaft Grounded Motor is engineered for high-efficiency performance and extended service life in variable frequency drive (VFD) applications. Available from 1 to 100 hp, with NEMA frame sizes 143T to 326T, this three-phase motor features foot-mounted or C-Face configurations to meet diverse mounting requirements.

Equipped with an internally mounted AEGIS® bearing protection ring, the motor provides robust shaft grounding to eliminate bearing currents caused by drive-induced voltages. This prevents premature bearing wear and extends motor life in VFD-controlled systems. Designed to NEMA Premium® efficiency standards, the Super-E® motor reduces energy costs and supports LEED or FEMP-compliant facilities.

Constructed with a durable cast-iron or steel frame, the motor includes Class H insulation and a Class B temperature rise at rated horsepower under sine wave operation. It meets NEMA MG1 Part 31.4.4.2 for inverter duty, and features regreasable ball bearings filled with Mobil Polyrex® EM grease for long-term reliability. Enclosure options include TEFC (IP44) or ODP (IP22) depending on environmental conditions.

This motor is ideal for industrial pumps, fans, compressors, and conveyors where protection from electrical bearing damage and high-efficiency operation are essential.
