Product Description
The Tri-Phase Metering System is designed for accurate measurement of oil, water, and gas components within a three-phase flow commonly encountered in petroleum production. The system enables real-time monitoring of individual phase flow rates and composition, supporting improved field production management and measurement accuracy across single wells, multiple wells, and well stations.
The system operates through a gas-liquid separation process where the mixed stream is passed through a separation unit incorporating hydrocyclone separation, gas collision, and regulation mechanisms. This ensures gas-liquid separation efficiency exceeding 98%. The separated gas is measured using an ultrasonic gas flowmeter, while the liquid phase is measured using a Coriolis mass flowmeter. Water content is calculated based on density differences between oil and water.
A PLC-based control system processes measurement data and converts it into flow rates, phase percentages, pressure, and temperature readings. The system is fully automated and includes a control cabinet with TFT display for real-time monitoring. Remote communication functionality can be integrated as required.
