KROHNE VFM4070C7 Electromagnetic Flowmeter – 2” DN50

The KROHNE VFM4070C7 1AA112101012 is a high-performance electromagnetic flowmeter designed to deliver precise and repeatable flow measurement in a variety of industrial applications. Based on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction, it accurately measures conductive liquids with a minimum conductivity of ≥ 5 µS/cm.

This model features a 2” (DN50) line size and ANSI 150 lb flanged connections, with an FPM (Viton) liner and 316L stainless steel electrodes to ensure chemical compatibility and durability. It offers a flow accuracy of ±0.3% of reading ±1 mm/s and repeatability of ±0.1%, making it suitable for demanding process control environments.

The integrated transmitter provides analog 4–20 mA output (active/passive), pulse/frequency output, and optional digital communication modules including HART, Modbus, and PROFIBUS. Its 2-line backlit LCD display shows flowrate, totalizer, and diagnostic messages, with keypad-based local configuration.

Built with a carbon steel body and stainless steel measuring tube, this flowmeter is protected to IP67 (NEMA 4X equivalent), suitable for installation in harsh environments. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically, provided the pipe remains full.
