The MAGYN Series Electromagnetic Flowmeter operates based on Faraday’s Electromagnetic Induction principle to measure the flow of conductive liquids. As fluid passes through a magnetic field, an induced voltage proportional to the flow velocity is generated and measured, enabling accurate flow rate calculation.
The system is designed to provide stable and reliable measurement independent of fluid characteristics such as temperature, pressure, viscosity, and density. With no moving parts in the measuring tube, the unit offers simplified maintenance and long-term operational reliability.
The flowmeter supports installation in multiple orientations, provided the pipeline remains full, and requires minimal straight pipe lengths for optimal performance. It is suitable for a wide range of conductive liquids, including those containing solids or suspended materials, depending on the selected lining and electrode materials.
The unit is equipped with an intelligent transmitter featuring LCD display, menu-based configuration, self-diagnostics, and alarm functions. Multiple output and communication options are available, including analog, pulse, and digital interfaces. Explosion-proof configurations and customizable flange standards are available as specified.
