The 24" x 0.75" X56 Seamless Conductor Casing is a high-strength structural pipe used as the first casing string in oil and gas wells, primarily to support the wellhead and prevent near-surface formation collapse. Manufactured from API 5L X56 grade carbon steel, this pipe provides excellent yield strength and toughness for conductor applications in demanding offshore and onshore drilling environments.
With a substantial wall thickness of 0.75" (19.05 mm) and a high unit weight of 186 lb/ft, this casing offers exceptional resistance to external loads, soil movement, and axial stresses encountered during pile-driving, cementing, and early-stage drilling. Seamless construction ensures uniform mechanical properties and reliability under high-impact and bending forces.
This conductor casing is commonly used in large-diameter wells requiring robust foundation support, such as offshore platforms, jack-up rigs, or deep land wells, especially where top-hole conditions are unstable.
