The 316L Stainless Steel Pipe by KCM is a low-carbon variant of 316 stainless steel, alloyed with molybdenum to enhance corrosion resistance, especially against chlorides and other industrial solvents. Engineered for applications in aggressive, high-moisture, and corrosive environments, 316L offers superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and intergranular attack.
Its low carbon content (≤0.03%) makes it highly suitable for welding and fabrication, eliminating the risk of carbide precipitation during welding processes. The pipe delivers reliable performance in a broad range of industries, including marine, petrochemical, food processing, pharmaceutical, and wastewater systems.
Manufactured to precise dimensional standards, the 316L pipe ensures consistent mechanical performance, pressure integrity, and long operational life, even under the most demanding conditions.
