Handa Galvanized Steel Pipes are engineered for corrosion resistance and durability across structural, fluid handling, and general industrial applications. These seamless pipes are available in two main types: hot dip galvanized and cold-plated (electro-galvanized), each with distinct performance characteristics.

Hot Dip Galvanized Seamless Pipes feature a metallurgical bond formed between the zinc coating and steel substrate through immersion in molten zinc. This process results in a thick, uniform, and highly adherent coating that provides long-lasting protection against corrosion. The surface is pre-treated with pickling and fluxing using solutions such as ammonium chloride or zinc chloride to ensure optimal coating adherence. Hot dip galvanized pipes are widely adopted due to their robustness and extended service life.

Cold-Plated (Electro-Galvanized) Pipes, in contrast, apply a thin zinc coating (typically 10–50 g/m²) using electrical deposition methods. While more economical, these pipes provide lower corrosion resistance, and major manufacturers have largely phased them out for critical applications. Due to safety and durability concerns, cold galvanized pipes are now restricted from use in gas and potable water systems by construction regulations.
