The GE LM2500+G4 is a state-of-the-art aeroderivative gas turbine developed by GE Vernova for high-efficiency power generation. Manufactured in 2025, this advanced turbine is ideal for modular, fast-deployment energy systems with high flexibility and rapid ramp-up. The LM2500+G4 is based on proven aviation engine technology, featuring a single-shaft configuration with a free power turbine optimized for 50 Hz grid applications.

It delivers between 33.6 to 34.2 MW of net output at 50 Hz, with a leading thermal efficiency of approximately 37% (LHV) and a heat rate of 9,750 kJ/kWh. The unit is designed for primary use with natural gas and offers optional dual-fuel capability. It employs a 17-stage axial compressor with variable stator vanes for optimal part-load efficiency and low emissions. The compact modular or containerized packaging allows for fast site installation and relocation.

With a startup time of less than 10 minutes to full load, the LM2500+G4 is an excellent solution for grid stability, peaking power, or backup generation, especially in areas requiring fast-response distributed power.
