Description
ReflowX is offering a used Solar Taurus 60 gas turbine generator set rated 5.4 MW at 50 Hz and 11 kV. It was manufactured and commissioned in 2009. This single-shaft industrial gas turbine (7901 GSC version) comes as a complete Turbomach skid-mounted package, with a Leroy-Somer LSA 56 alternator rated 6,750 kVA, a reduction gearbox, an acoustic enclosure, a control cabin and ABB generator switchgear.
The unit has about 23,000 operating hours and runs on natural gas. It has been properly decommissioned and is in storage on site. A borescope inspection in December 2025 found no corrosion, erosion, pitting or foreign material in the areas inspected. That makes this 5 MW-class gas turbine generator a strong option for captive power plants, industrial cogeneration (CHP), oil and gas facilities, and fast-track power projects. It offers much shorter lead time and lower cost than new equipment.
