Description

JENBACHER J320 Gas Engine Plant – 1.2 MW Natural Gas, Generator Set - 2011–2013

The JENBACHER J320 gas engine is a proven 1.2 MW-class reciprocating engine designed for natural gas or biogas operation in industrial, commercial, and cogeneration (CHP) applications. Manufactured between 2011 and 2013, these engines feature a 6-cylinder inline configuration, high electrical efficiency, and low NOx emissions. The water-cooled system, digital controls, and dual-frequency support ensure robust, flexible performance for a variety of grid or island-mode installations.

Each engine is capable of producing up to 1,200 kW of electrical power, with electrical efficiency reaching up to 40% and CHP efficiency over 85%. Configurable output voltage and modern AVR systems allow seamless integration with power systems from 400 V up to 11 kV, depending on the alternator and transformer setup.
