Description
JENBACHER J620 GS Gas Engine, 4.4 MW V12, CHP Engine - 2008
The JENBACHER J620 GS, manufactured by INNIO (formerly GE Jenbacher) in 2008, is a robust V12 gas-fired reciprocating engine designed for industrial power generation, CHP (Combined Heat and Power) systems, and other distributed generation applications. Operating at 1,500 rpm for 50 Hz grids (or 1,800 rpm for 60 Hz systems), the engine is compatible with natural gas, biogas, and other gaseous fuels, providing approximately 4.4 MW of electrical power.
With a 12:1 compression ratio, spark ignition, and a single-stage turbocharger, the engine ensures optimal combustion and thermal performance. Its water-cooled design enhances operational reliability in ambient temperatures ranging from -5°C to +40°C, and its configuration supports high thermal efficiency, particularly in CHP installations.
