MWM TCG 2020 V16 K Gas Generator – 1500 kW, 50 Hz, Natural Gas - 2014

The MWM TCG 2020 V16 K gas generator set, manufactured in 2014 by Caterpillar Energy Solutions GmbH, delivers a reliable continuous output of 1500 kW at 50 Hz and 400 V. This high-efficiency generator is designed for industrial and CHP (Combined Heat & Power) applications using natural gas as the primary fuel.

The system includes a robust Marelli MJ 500 LA4 B2A alternator paired with the gas engine. This alternator is capable of delivering 1875 kVA with a rated voltage of 400 V and insulation class H, designed for heavy-duty continuous service (S1).

A fully integrated GGCP 1 control panel with MWM TEM control system and analog/digital instrumentation allows for comprehensive operation, monitoring, and synchronization capabilities. The generator is equipped with an advanced governing system (5% droop setting) for stable load sharing.
