Indoor Low Voltage Current Transformer – 0.72 kV

This Indoor Current Transformer (CT) is designed for low-voltage measuring and protection applications up to 0.72 kV system voltage. Engineered for reliability and accuracy, it supports a rated primary current range of 50A to 4000A with a standard secondary output of 1A or 5A, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial, utility, and commercial metering systems.

With rated outputs (burdens) from 1.5 VA to 40 VA, this CT meets stringent accuracy requirements for both metering (accuracy classes: 0.2s, 0.2, 0.5, 0.5s, 1.0, 3.0) and protection (accuracy classes: 5P5 to 5P30, 10P5 to 10P30, and PS(X)). It is capable of withstanding test voltages of 3 kV and 8 kV, with short-time thermal current ratings up to 60 times In for 0.5 seconds, and dynamic current withstand up to 2.5 times Ith.
