The 4000 kVA cast resin dry-type transformer is a three-phase, high-performance unit engineered for industrial, commercial, and utility applications. Designed for operation at 50 Hz, this transformer supports a primary voltage of 11 kV and a secondary voltage of 433 V, with a tap range of ±2 × 2.5% for voltage regulation. It features a cold-rolled, grain-oriented silicon steel (GOES) laminated core for low-loss performance, combined with aluminium windings to optimize cost-effectiveness and weight. The transformer offers AN (Air Natural) cooling with optional AF (Air Forced) for enhanced thermal management. Rated for both indoor and outdoor installation (with suitable enclosure), it uses Class F insulation and a Dyn11 vector group configuration. The unit achieves a PEI (Peak Efficiency Index) of 99.35% and demonstrates excellent thermal behavior with a winding temperature limit of 100°C. Built in 2019, the transformer has a short circuit impedance of 7.86% and features no-load losses of 6000 W and load losses at 120°C of 28300 W. It is ideal for high-efficiency power distribution in demanding environments.
