The Solar Titan 130 is a high-performance industrial gas turbine engineered for continuous-duty power generation in a wide range of industrial and utility settings. This 2012 unit, with 22,000 operational hours, delivers 15 MW (15,000 kWe) at 10.5 kV and operates on 50 Hz frequency. Its compact and rugged design, paired with advanced SoLoNOx technology, ensures reduced emissions while maintaining high efficiency.
Featuring a 14-stage axial-flow compressor with variable inlet guide vanes, the Titan 130 offers a pressure ratio of 17.1:1 and an inlet airflow of 49.1 kg/sec. The annular combustor includes 21 conventional and 14 lean-premixed SoLoNOx injectors for ultra-low NOx operation. Exhaust temperature is approximately 910°F (490°C) with a flow of over 446,000 lb/hr.
Coupled with a 4-pole, 3-phase synchronous generator operating at 1500 RPM, this turbine is suitable for power generation, CHP systems, or oil and gas applications. It is designed with flexibility in mind, capable of operating on either natural gas or diesel (depending on configuration), and offers air- or water-cooled generator options.
