The SL04 Special Sliding Support is engineered to provide low-friction movement for 3-inch pipelines. It is constructed with a 3mm thick polished stainless steel (SS) plate, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance. This SS plate is bonded to a 5mm thick PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) layer, which is recessed into a 10mm thick carbon steel (CS) backing plate. This robust design minimizes friction and allows for controlled thermal expansion and contraction of the pipeline, preventing stress and potential damage. Conforms to Pipe Support Standard CC-776199.
