The SL05 Sliding Pipe Support provides low-friction support for 3-inch pipelines, allowing for thermal expansion and contraction while maintaining structural integrity. This support conforms to Pipe Support Standard CC-776199, SL05.
It consists of a 5mm thick PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) layer bonded to 10mm thick carbon steel (CS) backing plates, both top and bottom. The PTFE provides a low coefficient of friction, minimizing stress on the pipe and supporting structure during movement.
