This high-quality 2" ASME B16.5 Ring Type Joint (RTJ) Weld Neck (WN) Flange is designed for critical piping applications requiring a robust and reliable connection. Manufactured from ASTM A105N normalized carbon steel, this flange provides excellent strength and corrosion resistance. Its Class 1500 pressure rating makes it suitable for high-pressure systems. The 11.1mm bore ID ensures compatibility with pipes of corresponding wall thickness.
Weld Neck flanges are characterized by their long, tapered hub, which provides an important reinforcement for use in several high-pressure applications. They are welded to a pipe by buttwelding. The hub transmits stress to the pipe, which reduces stress concentration at the base of the flange.
