Description
6A Dual Plate Check Valve – Class 150 to 2500, NPS ½" to 48" - NSW
The NSW 6A Dual Plate Check Valve is engineered to meet the most demanding applications in offshore and corrosive environments, utilizing ASTM A995 6A super duplex stainless steel. This valve features a compact dual-plate design, providing reliable non-return flow protection with low fluid resistance and fast closure to prevent water hammer. The check valve is available from NPS ½" to 48" with pressure ratings from Class 150 to 2500. Designed and manufactured in accordance with API 594, and tested per API 598, this valve is suitable for use in offshore platforms, subsea pipelines, marine systems, and aggressive chemical processing where resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion and high strength are critical. The 6A grade material offers superior corrosion resistance, especially in chloride-rich or sour environments.
