BZSV 9800 Pilot Operated Breathing Valve – 2"–12", API 2000, High-Sealing

The BZSV 9800 Series Pilot Operated Breathing Valve is engineered for precision pressure/vacuum control in fixed-roof storage tanks. Unlike traditional gravity or spring-loaded types, the pilot-operated design maintains full sealing performance at just 10% overpressure, allowing operation closer to the tank’s maximum design pressure. This results in significantly reduced vapor losses and improved economic efficiency.

Manufactured in accordance with API 2000, the valve is available in diameters from 2" to 12" and set pressures ranging from 0.5 to 103.4 kPa. Vacuum setpoints as low as -4.3 kPa are also supported (TYPE 9800 only). Material options include aluminum alloy, carbon steel, and stainless steel. A soft-sealing valve seat structure enhances longevity and sealing reliability by minimizing wear and product loss. Designed with ANSI B16.5 150LB raised-face flanges, the 9800 Series is ideal for tank farms, terminals, and chemical processing facilities seeking advanced vapor control.
