NSW API 602 Forged Steel Swing Check Valve – Class 150 to 2500, NPS 1/2" to 2"

The NSW API 602 Swing Check Valve is a forged steel, unidirectional valve designed to prevent reverse flow in critical process pipelines. Available in sizes from NPS 1/2” to 2” and pressure classes ranging from 150 to 2500, it offers versatile integration into compact and high-pressure systems in oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, and utility sectors.

The valve is manufactured in accordance with API 602, ASME B16.34, and BS 5352 standards. Designed with a separated seat ring, the swing check configuration allows free swing of the disc for full-bore, low-resistance flow. Materials include forged carbon steels, stainless steels, and duplex alloys.

End connections are available in Socket Weld, Butt Weld, NPT, and a full range of flanged types (RF, FF, RTJ). These valves also support fire-safe certification to API 6FA/API 607 and sour service compliance to NACE MR-0175/0103. Testing is per API 598 and optional inspections include PMI, UT, RT, PT, and MT.
