Description
NSW API 602 Y-Type Forged Strainer – Class 800, A105 Body, SW/NPT/BW Ends
The NSW API 602 Y-Type Forged Strainer is a compact and durable filtration device used to remove solid contaminants from process fluids in small-bore, high-pressure piping systems. Designed and manufactured to API 602 and ASME B16.34 standards, this strainer features a robust forged A105 carbon steel body with a bolted bonnet for secure closure and easy maintenance access. The internal filter element captures particulate matter such as sand, rust, and debris, protecting downstream equipment like control valves, pumps, and instrumentation. The Y-pattern construction ensures low pressure drop while offering flexible installation options. End connections are available in socket weld (SW), threaded (NPT), or butt weld (BW) configurations, making it suitable for oil & gas, petrochemical, and power plant applications.
