The NSW API 609 Butterfly Valve is a precision-engineered valve designed for on-off and modulating service in a wide variety of fluid systems. Manufactured in accordance with API 609, EN 593, and ISO 10631 standards, this butterfly valve is suitable for critical applications in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power, water treatment, and marine industries.
Available in a wide range of body materials including ASTM A216 WCB, A351 CF8M, A352 LCB, duplex and super duplex stainless steels, Monel, Inconel, Hastelloy, and C95800, the valve supports both corrosive and high-pressure environments. Face-to-face dimensions conform to API 609, ASME B16.10, and ISO 5752 Series 13.
With soft-seated or metal-seated options, the valve is offered in concentric, double eccentric, or triple eccentric configurations depending on service requirements. Its disc rotates on a central axis to enable quick shutoff or precise throttling, with tight shutoff performance meeting API 598 and EN12266-1 leak standards. Fire-safe design per API 607, and available compliance with NACE MR0175 and ISO 15848 fugitive emission requirements.
