NSW API 6D Swing Check Valve – Class 150–2500, WCB/CF8M Body, Bolted or Pressure Seal Cover

The NSW API 6D Swing Check Valve is a robust, full-bore or reduced-bore non-return valve designed to allow unidirectional fluid flow while preventing backflow in process pipelines. Built to API 6D and BS 1868 standards, it is engineered for high-integrity applications in oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, and industrial fluid systems.

This valve employs a rocker-arm swing mechanism enclosed entirely within the body. The disc swings open with forward flow and closes automatically on reverse flow. A spherical joint between the disc and rocker ensures 360° freedom of movement, allowing slight alignment adjustments for optimal sealing. The body is offered in cast carbon steel, stainless steel, or high alloy materials, and end connections include RF/RTJ flanges or butt welds as per ASME standards.

Options include bolted covers for easy maintenance or pressure seal bonnets for high-pressure applications. Fire-safe construction, NACE compliance, and non-destructive testing options ensure suitability for critical isolation duties across a wide range of fluids, including water, oil, steam, acids, and oxidizing media.
