The NSW Bolted Bonnet Forged Gate Valve is a compact, high-integrity isolation valve designed in accordance with API 602 and ASME B16.34 standards for Class 800 to Class 2500 service. Suitable for demanding applications across the oil & gas, petrochemical, power, and industrial sectors, this valve features a forged body with bolted bonnet construction and precision-machined internal components for long-term reliability.
Key design features include an outside screw and yoke (OS&Y), rising stem for positive position indication, integral backseat, and solid wedge gate. The valve offers either full or reduced bore flow path and can be provided with socket weld, threaded (NPT), butt weld, or flanged end connections to meet varied system requirements.
The sealing surfaces are engineered for either self-sealing (by fluid pressure) or forced sealing (mechanically closed under external force), and are protected from erosion during full-open operation. The valve operates linearly via a lift rod mechanism with trapezoidal threads that convert rotary motion into axial thrust.
Available in a range of forged materials including carbon steel (A105), stainless steel (F316), and duplex grades (F51, F53), this gate valve is suitable for handling steam, oil, gas, and corrosive fluids. NACE, fire-safe, and fugitive emission compliance are also available as options.
