The NSW BS 1868 Swing Check Valve is a high-performance automatic non-return valve engineered to prevent backflow in critical pipeline systems. Designed in accordance with BS 1868 and API 6D, this valve is commonly installed in one-way flow pipelines across the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, and power industries.

Available in sizes from NPS 2" to NPS 32" and pressure classes 150 to 2500, the valve features a heavy-duty swing disc mechanism that operates solely under flow force. The disc swings open with forward flow and closes tightly upon flow reversal, ensuring protection for pumps, compressors, and sensitive equipment.

Constructed from a wide selection of cast or forged materials—including carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, and exotic alloys—the BS 1868 swing check valve is built for versatility in handling a wide variety of aggressive fluids such as water, steam, nitric acid, urea, and oxidizers. It comes with optional fire-safe design, bolted or pressure seal cover, and a choice of full or reduced bore configurations.
