The NSW BS 1873 Globe Valve is a precision-engineered control valve designed for reliable throttling and shut-off in high-pressure pipeline systems. Built to the BS 1873 standard and available in sizes NPS 2" to 24", this globe valve is suitable for use in industries such as oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, steel, and water treatment.

This valve uses a plug-type disc that moves linearly against a flat or conical seat to regulate or stop flow. It is offered with either an outside screw and yoke (OS&Y) rising stem design or a non-rising stem version, and includes a bolted bonnet or optional pressure seal bonnet for enhanced sealing at higher pressures.

The BS 1873 globe valve can be constructed in cast or forged materials, including carbon steel (WCB), stainless steel (CF8M), duplex (A995 4A/5A), and high-performance alloys like Monel, Inconel, and Hastelloy. End connections include RF, FF, RTJ, socket weld, and butt weld to suit varied installation environments.

Ideal for critical flow regulation, this valve’s linear stem movement enables precise control, while its short stroke design ensures reliable shut-off. It is particularly suited to applications involving steam, oil, corrosive media, and radioactive or high-viscosity fluids.
