The Resolute Ball™ by Bray is an innovative ball valve accessory engineered to solve a widespread challenge in harsh industrial processes—scale accumulation on valve internals. In industries like pulp & paper, mining, petrochemical, and refining, media build-up on the upstream surface of traditional spherical balls often leads to excessive torque, seat damage, stem failure, and even seized valve operation due to scraping during actuation.

The Resolute Ball™ features a uniquely engineered geometry that reduces sustained contact between the ball and seat after just 10 degrees of rotation, enabling scale and particulate matter to be flushed away during operation. This drastically minimizes seat wear—up to 70% less compared to conventional balls—and maintains smooth functionality even in infrequently cycled applications.

The Resolute Ball™ is a drop-in replacement for Bray’s RF15/RF30 (one-piece flanged) and F15/F30 (two-piece flanged) valve product lines.
