The TEJI 8" Class 2500 Cryogenic Ball Valve is a high-performance valve engineered for ultra-low temperature applications, capable of reliable operation down to -196°C. Designed in compliance with API, ASME, ASTM, and BS standards, this valve is available in forged or cast steel construction and offers socket-welded, butt-welded, or flanged end connections.

This cryogenic valve features a long neck structure that maintains packing temperature above 0°C, preventing seal failure due to extreme cold and allowing for effective insulation. The valve's internals undergo cryogenic treatment to eliminate brittleness and structural phase changes at subzero temperatures.

The floating ball configuration includes an automatic pressure relief outlet design that ensures pressure balance in the cavity, mitigating risks associated with temperature-induced pressure spikes. Available in manual, electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuation formats, the valve is fire-safe certified by TÜV for additional protection in critical applications such as LNG, air separation, petrochemical, and liquefied gas transport.
