The TEJI Floating Ball Valve is engineered for effective sealing in mid-to-low pressure applications, utilizing a precision-balanced floating ball that moves under medium pressure to tightly press against the downstream seat. This self-actuating sealing mechanism ensures dependable shutoff performance with a simplified structure.
Floating ball valves are ideal where compact design, ease of operation, and reliability are essential. The seat must bear the full load of the sealing pressure, making seat material selection crucial. TEJI’s range is available with a wide choice of materials and trim options to match varied process conditions.
This valve is offered with a variety of end connections—including flanged, socket weld (SW), and butt weld (BW)—accommodating installation flexibility. BW ends are precisely machined for optimal welding clearance, proper blunt edge dimension, and weld angle, ensuring a reliable installation and leak-proof operation.
Available with lever, gear, pneumatic, or electric actuation options, the floating ball valve suits oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, and utility service where medium-pressure tight sealing is critical. Operating temperature tolerances range from -46°C to +300°C.
