Description
PTFE Lined Butterfly Valve – Series 22/23, Chemical Resistant, Lug & Wafer Type
The PTFE Lined Butterfly Valve Series 22/23 is specifically engineered for use in highly corrosive and aggressive fluid service conditions. Designed with a full bore body, integrally molded PTFE seat, and a polished disc surface, this valve provides exceptional sealing performance and chemical resistance.
The valve’s robust construction features a ductile iron or stainless steel body fully encapsulated with PTFE lining, ensuring maximum protection against corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and solvents. Its low-friction, non-stick PTFE surfaces allow for smooth operation, reduced torque, and extended service life, even in the most challenging environments.
Series 22 (wafer type) and Series 23 (lug type) offer versatility for installation in ANSI 150 flanged pipelines and are suitable for manual or automated actuation. With a leak-tight shutoff and bubble-tight performance, this valve is a top choice for chemical plants, water treatment facilities, and pharmaceutical industries.
