The Resilient Seated Butterfly Valve – Series 32/33 is designed for efficient flow control and reliable shutoff in a wide range of industrial and utility applications. Featuring both wafer (Series 32) and lug (Series 33) configurations, this valve provides flexibility in installation across flanged piping systems.
Constructed with a concentric design, the valve incorporates a ductile iron body, resilient elastomer liner, and a corrosion-resistant disc made from materials such as 316 stainless steel or aluminum bronze. The valve stem is supported by top and bottom bearings, reducing torque and enhancing durability. A fully encapsulated seat ensures bubble-tight shutoff and extended service life, while the ISO 5211 mounting pad allows for easy integration with electric, pneumatic, or gear actuators.
This valve is widely used in water treatment, chemical processing, HVAC, fire protection, and general industrial fluid transport, meeting global standards such as API 598 and EN 12266 for pressure testing and leakage performance.
