Description
Resilient Seated Butterfly Valve – Series 35/36, Double Flanged, Bi-directional, ISO 5211 Mount
The Resilient Seated Butterfly Valve – Series 35/36 is engineered for high-performance flow control in demanding applications. Featuring a full double flanged body (Series 35 for short pattern and Series 36 for long pattern), this valve is suitable for dead-end service and is compatible with a wide range of pipeline standards.
The design includes a fully encapsulated resilient liner to ensure bi-directional bubble-tight shutoff, while the ductile iron body offers strength and corrosion resistance. The valve disc can be manufactured in stainless steel, aluminum bronze, or coated ductile iron for enhanced compatibility with various fluids. An ISO 5211 mounting flange allows for direct mounting of manual, pneumatic, or electric actuators without additional brackets.
Typical applications include municipal water distribution, wastewater treatment, power generation, marine systems, and general industrial pipelines, where tight shutoff and reliability are critical. Complies with international standards for face-to-face, pressure testing, and flange compatibility.
