NSW 6" UB6 Plug Valve – Class 600, RF Flanged, Soft-Seated Design

The NSW 6" UB6 Plug Valve – Class 600 is engineered for extreme corrosive environments where conventional stainless steels may fail. Constructed from UB6 alloy, a highly alloyed low-carbon austenitic stainless steel, this plug valve provides excellent resistance to dilute sulfuric acid, pitting, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and intergranular corrosion.

This valve features a sleeve-type soft sealing design, with the sealing surface encapsulated around a replaceable sleeve, protected by a 360° metal lip. The design eliminates any internal cavity, preventing media accumulation. The self-cleaning feature is ideal for viscous or fouling-prone media.

With bi-directional flow, ease of installation, and compatibility with various actuation options (manual, gear, pneumatic, electric), this UB6 plug valve is a trusted solution in petrochemical, power generation, flue gas desulfurization (FGD), seawater systems, food processing, and pharmaceutical reactors.
