Description
Product Description
The LXW Series Vortex Flowmeter is designed based on the Karman vortex shedding principle and incorporates a digital transmitter with DSP technology. The unit measures flow by detecting the frequency of vortices generated as fluid passes a bluff body, with the output frequency directly proportional to flow velocity.
The flowmeter is constructed with a sealed detection system that avoids direct contact between sensing components and the measured medium. With no moving parts and no internal lining, the unit provides stable long-term operation with minimal maintenance requirements.
The design allows measurement of liquid, gas, and steam using the same sensor, provided operating conditions fall within the specified Reynolds number range. Measurement performance is not influenced by changes in temperature, pressure, or viscosity within the defined operating range.
The unit includes a display for instantaneous and total flow and supports both analog and digital output signals. Explosion-proof configurations are available as specified.
