Handa’s ASTM A268 Steel Pipes are precision-manufactured seamless and welded stainless steel tubes designed for use in high-temperature and corrosive environments. Conforming to ASTM A268 standards, these pipes are widely employed in industrial systems requiring reliable tubing for heat exchangers, boilers, superheaters, and condensers.
The specification covers a range of ferritic and martensitic stainless steel grades such as TP410, TP405, TP429, TP430, TP443, TP409, TP439, and TP444, chosen for their mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and heat tolerance. Seamless tubes are produced by extrusion and subsequent cold drawing or rolling, while welded variants are formed from stainless steel strip or plate and welded longitudinally or spirally.
